Summary

New York Times bestselling author and the Queen of Slow Burn Romance Mariana Zapata's fan favorite All Rhodes Lead Here, a story about finding love when you least expect it--now with new exclusive content! The people we lose take a part of us with them。。。but they leave a part of themselves with us too。 Aurora De La Torre, or Ora to her friends, knows moving back to Pagosa Springs, Colorado, a place that was once home and is now full of bittersweet memories of her late mother, isn't going to be easy。 Starting your whole life over probably isn't supposed to be。 But after breaking up with her longtime, famous musician boyfriend, hiding out in a small town in the mountains might be the perfect remedy for a broken heart。 And checking out her landlord who lives across the driveway just might cure it, too。 Only Tobias Rhodes didn't rent out the apartment to her, rather it was his teenage son, Amos。 Fiercely protective of his family and distrusting of strangers, gruff and grumpy Rhodes initially keeps little miss sunshine Ora at a distance。 But over days and weeks, long hikes and fireside chats, Aurora breaks down his walls and soon an unbreakable friendship blossoms into a once-in-a-lifetime love。

5🌟 psa: I am in love with this book!! I think this may take the place of my 2nd fav MZ book。 This book had me giggling left and right (and crying a little too tbh)。 But Rhodes, are you kidding me?!?! That man 🥵I didn’t love the conflict towards the end but you know, the vibes were still 5 stars!!

I want to cry because this story is over! I wanted to stay in the beautiful, wonderful story forever! I fell in love with the character and all of it just made me so happy。

sorry but there is no reason for a contemporary romance to have this many pages 😭 and I love a grump as much as the next person but I felt like Rhodes had no personality other than the fact that he is protective and quiet。 I listened to this on audio and I LOVED the fact that Rhodes’ lines were read by a male va but my glee was short-lived because I haaaated the female va; she somehow made Aurora sound very childish and I don’t even know whether the character was like that or if I feel that way sorry but there is no reason for a contemporary romance to have this many pages 😭 and I love a grump as much as the next person but I felt like Rhodes had no personality other than the fact that he is protective and quiet。 I listened to this on audio and I LOVED the fact that Rhodes’ lines were read by a male va but my glee was short-lived because I haaaated the female va; she somehow made Aurora sound very childish and I don’t even know whether the character was like that or if I feel that way because of the va。 if you cut like 200 pages and added some personality to Rhodes, this would be 4-5 stars 。。。more

This slow burn romance was everything I needed! All the novels by this author seem the same - with the same characters (especially the women), they’re too long, with too much innecessary inner dialogue and little chemistry between the characters。 Sometimes, the men seem more of a father figure than a romantic interest (which is weird)。 But what I find less appealing is that the FMCs are too cutsie, too sweet, too understanding of men who treat them like shit for the first half of the book。 And in this particular case, the various interaction All the novels by this author seem the same - with the same characters (especially the women), they’re too long, with too much innecessary inner dialogue and little chemistry between the characters。 Sometimes, the men seem more of a father figure than a romantic interest (which is weird)。 But what I find less appealing is that the FMCs are too cutsie, too sweet, too understanding of men who treat them like shit for the first half of the book。 And in this particular case, the various interaction with animals were completely ridiculous。 Kulti had similar problems but he was a very interesting character, and Sal actually fought him when he crossed a line。 In this book, Aurora was annoying and cheesy (she cried too much for my taste) and Rhodes was completely flat, he barely had a personality beyond being broody at the beginning and overprotective at the end。 。。。more

4。5⭐️ This is by far my favorite MZ book I think。 I ate this up。 Chefs 💋。 I will say I prefer to read her books as audio。 The narrators are excellent and it's a slow burn, character driven story。 4。5⭐️ This is by far my favorite MZ book I think。 I ate this up。 Chefs 💋。 I will say I prefer to read her books as audio。 The narrators are excellent and it's a slow burn, character driven story。 。。。more

* 4。5 stars *Mariana Zapata is the Queen of Slow Burn Romance and while I end up loving all her books, I am really partial to this one! I love reading books that I feel a connection to and the second Pagosa Springs was mentioned, I was trapped。 Once I hit my teenage years we started traveling to Pagosa Springs every year for a family reunion and it’s honestly my favorite vacation memories。 I got very nostalgic when hikes were mentioned that I’ve been on。 Then to top off the warm fuzzy feelings t * 4。5 stars *Mariana Zapata is the Queen of Slow Burn Romance and while I end up loving all her books, I am really partial to this one! IT WAS SO GOOD。 Didn't know I was capable of reading a 550 page book in the span of 3 days but here I am!! I would honestly give it a 4。5 because there were a few things that didn't completely make it a 5 star。 First, I feel like this is a continuous thing Mariana Zapata does but the female main character is SO MOODY。 Like this girl cries so easily more than me and she's 33。 If she's gonna cry over the littlest thing not just sad but just happy AT LEAST make this woman younger。 And a lot of repe IT WAS SO GOOD。 Didn't know I was capable of reading a 550 page book in the span of 3 days but here I am!! I guess I didn't know that this author was known for her "slow burn" novels。 I felt like this book was too long。 I wanted to love it, I know so many people that love this author。 It just wasn't for me。Thank you to NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for the ARC。 All opinions are my own。 I guess I didn't know that this author was known for her "slow burn" novels。 I felt like this book was too long。 I wanted to love it, I know so many people that love this author。 It just wasn't for me。Thank you to NetGalley and Avon and Harper Voyager for the ARC。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

Great well developed book。 Another great book that manages to be both funny and touching。 Now I want stories of the side characters。 Great ordinary life stories that focus not simply on romance but on characters learning about themselves as they get to know each other。

Mariana Zapata is really the Queen of Slowburn Romance, and I've missed reading her books。I loved the characters that we got to follow in this book。 Both Aurora and Rhodes felt like real people。 And because of that, I still really enjoyed it even though the romance didn't feel as prevalent as I would have liked it。 I did like that it felt realistic and you could see their feelings grow。 However, this felt more like a plain contemporary story or a character study for at least two-thirds of the bo Mariana Zapata is really the Queen of Slowburn Romance, and I've missed reading her books。I loved the characters that we got to follow in this book。 Both Aurora and Rhodes felt like real people。 And because of that, I still really enjoyed it even though the romance didn't feel as prevalent as I would have liked it。 I did like that it felt realistic and you could see their feelings grow。 However, this felt more like a plain contemporary story or a character study for at least two-thirds of the book。I did really like the exploration of grief and unconventional families。 Also, the kid (teenager) felt appropriately aged and acted how I would expect them to!But I think I just wish that I liked the conclusion more。 It felt like it wrapped up too quickly。Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for providing the E-ARC in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more
